We recently had our baby shower here! We could not recommend it enough! The staff were SO accommodating with our booking. And the food they put on was very reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity (we had the mixed buffet menu). They even put labels on the veggie/vegan options. Everyone commented on the food and said it was delicious! They also loved the great selections of beers/wines/gins. 😀 oh and the view of Parker's Piece is amazing.

Thanks for making a special day even more beautiful!

Undeterred by it being quiet, it was a Monday afternoon after all! Jamie was really welcoming and helpful. Didn't feel rushed, he was attentive without being in your face. Bao buns were awesome, thumbs up for the chessy steak ciabatta. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice enough place but WOW what culinary school dropout came up with the "dirty fries" menu item. Bagging fries makes them soggy, adding a tiny dollop of pulled pork and gravy is what saved this review from being 1 star. In anticipation of dry fries I asked for a side sauce, which of course was forgotten. Even the server delivering the fries to my table looked ashamed. Too bad she didn't ask if I wanted ketchup or any other sauce. Do NOT order this unless you're a glutton for punishment.

The hospitality received by the manager Chloe K was impeccable. The food was so good and the staff made me and the family feel so welcomed. Chloe went above and beyond to ensure we got the best out of the pubs service. Will definitely be back, Thank you Chloe. I recommend the grain and hop store to everyone.

amazing and friendly experience.
i visited The Grain and Hop and was pleasantly surprised having been here before several years ago.
warm, clean and beautifully run, it was a pleasure to be here. wonderful staff and we were served by Ev who was a total delight. she seemed to be in charge that night but still took the time to make sure we were looked after and that our food was satisfactory. that girl deserves a medal!! great pub and great experience!!!

Excellent spot to wile away a couple of hours of a Saturday afternoon. Nice beer range, although sadly no cask ale. All day food was great for grazing on. Nice warm atmosphere, good young staff and a background music play list for the ages. 21st century female vocalists. Cool and relaxing. Judging by the future events board (picture) this is a pub with a great story to tell.

Beautiful views out the window, location is great and this pub is Huge! Delicious menu, especially brunch, you have to try the Turkish eggs 😍 and the dirty burgers if you're extra hungry. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options, huge selection of spirits, craft beer, non alcoholic options. My favourite pub in Cambridge, perfect for chilling, working and studying, live music and events, predrinks, date night, they've really got it all covered. Refurb looks amazing, downstairs is cosy, upstairs is bright and airy, and the addition of an extended heated and covered garden is the icing on the cake.

My company recently attended an event at this venue and were blown away by the atmosphere. The space was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were top-notch, and there was a great variety of options to choose from. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this venue for any event.
