The Linden Tree

Great beers etc, friendly 'proper' independent pub, which is really great as this kind of pub is becoming very rare! Lots of local history. You can tell the owners put their hearts into this pub and how it's run. Even the loos are up there with the nicest pub loos I've ever experienced (and I've seen a lot!). In fact... I think I'll head there now for a pint :)

Top notch, i must admit we walked in on a quiz night right at the music part.

However, we got greeted by the bar staff/owner and told that it wont last long.

it was a great experience to walk in to a pub and get such a friendly greeting. getting served immediately by an attentive team and very friendly.

Even got greeted by the pub (i think owned by the pub) Cat and Dog.

Absolutely loved it and will be back soon

Oh and the beer, top notch, well kept and very enjoyable.

Good local pub, nice to be in a pub that is not trying to be everything and focus on what they do well. Good pint, happy to spend time with the cat and dog that was there as well.

Been back on a number of occasions and still a good pint, the service continues to get better.

If your not a regular they will treat you like dirt and the staff let it happen, some vile words said to the women in our group

Great landlord, good with banter. Great pub

As a sober person I think my pub ratings are always unbiased.
Had pint of OJ and lemonade - similar price to a pint of beer, but the staff were friendly, the quiz sounded fun, but we didn't join in.
I'll be going back !

Excellent locals pub, a real pub. No food but great atmosphere and genuine people out for a good time in a great old school boozer. Beautiful garden too.
