The Crown @ Elsenham

Nice pub to pop in for lunch, we just went in by chance.
Sat outside in the blazing sun.

Staff were attentive, friendly and made you feel very welcome

We had sandwiches, and these were exactly what we needed.
They were propa door step ones with the filling skulking out of them.
Served with crisps and coleslaw.

You could've tell all fresh ingredients and made to order

Will be visiting again

My partner and I had a great evening at The Crown. The service from the waitress Sophie was first class, highly attentive and very friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. The atmosphere tonight was great - all in all a great experience, and look forward to going back to work my way through most of the menu 😊 Thanks for a very lovely evening

Had a lovely evening diner at the Crown. We were warmly welcomed and the food and beers were of great quality. We even could try the beer before ordering. The place is very nice and cosy. Thanks for having us there.

Dadd Mac Lasagne (triple mac 'n' cheese with smoked brisket) was interesting and fulfilling, fries were wonderfully crispy and the Biscoff cheesecake was smooth and flavoursome.

Looking forward to ploughing through the rest of the menu.

We met friends for lunch here and had a really lovely time. Food was great, good size portions and reasonably priced. They also has an extensive range of gluten free options which was helpful for us. Really warm welcome when we arrived and great service from all the staff. We will back!

Poor Service. We had travelled 400miles ,stopping in a nearby guest house. They advertise food until 9pm but when I phoned to check at 8.40pm they refused to cook a meal. We could have stopped at any pub enroute but as you advertised 9pm we waited until we got to Elsenham. DONT ADVERTISE FOOD UNTIL 9PM IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HONOUR THIS SERVICE. POOR SERVICE. THANK YOU FOR A HUNGRY NIGHT.

Had a fab lunch at The Crown in Elsenham. Very welcoming Landlord & Landlady. Great food ,service & atmosphere. Looking forward to return visit for evening meal.
