Popped in while out with the family and Barney the bulldog. Had 3xBLT sandwiches with chips, bacon in the sandwiches was spot on just crispy. We all enjoyed the skin on chips. Dog friendly and wife was able to drive her mobility scooter into the pub. Going back later in the week to try a bigger meal.

The view is interesting: harbour, old warship, castle, forts, sailboats etc, all of Portsmouth and Gosport's waterfront from an appreciably different angle.

The menu today was limited (i.e we were told on arrival that only the burgers and a selection of fries were available, not that the menu itself is limited when properly available), but the food we had was good and well presented.

The burger bun in particular was notable for having been pre-boiled to give it a delicious bagel-like crust.

The staff were very welcoming and the locals friendly and talkative too.

A good spot for a quiet bite.

LOVELY little waterside pub with lots of charm. Food was interesting and also offers vegan alternatives. Outdoor tables or indoor with still great views! Very clever to put the check in an old book! Do recommend you try!

Great service. Delicious food.
Friendly atmosphere. If the weather is nice the view from the table is beautiful!

First time we've eaten here for a while and had a really good meal. Service was warm and friendly, menu was good for meat/veggie combo diners. The food was great, real surprise. Dog was spoilt, one water bowl and two fusses and three treats in.... We were just having a holiday-at-home meal out and this was a proper treat. Would recommend.

What a wonderful breathe of fresh air, I was in the area after embarking a ferry from Portsmouth and happened to stumble upon this gem of an establishment with breathtaking views of Portsmouth Harbour. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and attentive. The food I can say is very well presented and tasted amazing. Also, a large selection of wines, beers, and spirits, will definitely be returning!
