When planning an overnight stay between jobs I found this little gem of a place on booking dot com.

Firstly the room, i stayed in no.7, part of the new building. It was decorated and furnished to an amazingly high standard, and was so comfortable. One of the reasons I chose this place was for the desk, I had 2 hours work at my laptop to complete before morning.

I had dinner at the restaurant, amazing pub food, fresh and homemade. The Adnams beer was kept well too.

Breakfast was equally as good as the dinner, and it arrived pretty quick after ordering.

Overall I hope to go back if work ever comes in over in the East.

Great vibe and atmosphere throughout the place, staff really friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars but getting a drink took an age. Not because staff were slow quite the opposite they were run off their feet but just no where near enough of them for the number of customers they cater for.

I normally love this pub and enjoy coming here every so often but I recently visited and ordered on the app. Normally it states that certain items on the menu are not available but in this case where I ordered a drink it was not. The bar woman came and told me it was not available and that I had been refunded so I could order a different drink so I did this, yet over a month down the line I am yet to receive the refund. I have tried contacting the company but have received no reply, would not normally reach out this way but spending £10 on one cider is ridiculous.

Like the atmosphere and the food. There are heaters should you decide to sit outside and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Been here a few times and will be back but next time it will be with better company!!!

Good on with a friendly atmosphere. Serving the new Green King ales: Level Head session IPA & Flint Eye dry hopped lager. Nice.

I’ve been to the kings arms a couple times now both for drinks and also for food. The staff are very welcoming and always take the time to recommend different drinks and dishes when I’ve been unsure what to order.
The food itself is great and Is always leaving me wanting to come back.

We popped in for a late lunch and were not disappointed. We had veggie chicken wings, Korean burger and hunter's chicken. All very tasty, happy with our meal.

Had a reservation on a Bank Holiday Monday. Upon arrival, we were notified that we only had 2 hours, and that there was, get this... a 45min wait for DRINKS! We questioned this and was told it was then about 20min. It still took over 30min.

The menu was widely unavailable. It was only 1500. 1st set of food arrived without cutlery. It was underwhelming and undercooked. They literally brought out loaded chips in a foil bag.

The 2nd order of food arrived 20min later, at which point we were no longer interested in remaining. The manager had the nerve to tell us that the food is brought in pre-cooked. This being true, doesn't allow them the excuse for the delay. His response was Covid restrictions only allowed him 2 people behind the bar, and 2 people in the kitchen. I don't believe this to be true. Asked for a refund that was promptly given. Didn't eat the 2nd food order.

I've eaten at several Greene King pubs since the easing of lockdown. This was by far the worst. I've posted some of the menu screenshots. I do have more. This was really not a good experience or a good 1st impression
