Great example or a community run pub. Excellent knowledgeable volunteer staff, welcoming regulars/locals and tasty ales too. Will definitely be making the walk from Wrabness to Great Oakley again.

Super friendly staff and really accommodating. We were passing through on our way to the port. Tasty pub food and really good value, despite the kitchen winding down for a private party! Would recommend this pub and friendly staff.

One of the great country pubs still remaining. Run my the locals for the locals and visitors alike. A growing concern well worth a visit 👍

Lovely community pub. Relaxing and friendly..Good service. Great food and excellent prices for both meals and drinks.Not run of the mill which makes it unique. Will happily return again in the very near future.
