The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Ordered a sharing roast, it was a lovely meal and plenty for two.
Will return again for sure.

Second visit to this pub and was disappointed with the quality of the food. I had a beef and ale pie which I expected to be puff pastry in a casserole dish but instead looked and tasted like a frozen pie and two tablespoons of mash. Will not be visiting again as when went before a lot better.

I really enjoyed my evening here. Lovely old fashioned ‘proper’ pub with lots of nooks and crannies for seating - as well as a very welcoming bar. We shared starters between us and thought the goats cheese salad was outstanding. Loved that there were plenty of options for wine by the glass and particularly liked that as well as a 175ml and 250ml listed on the wine list, when asking for a ‘small glass’ I was also offered a 125ml which I felt was very thoughtful. Finally, special mention to the woman on the bar Tuesday night (25/10) for her friendly, kind, professional service throughout. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Loved the whole evening and look forward to visiting again.

Cozy pub, often overlooked because it's set back from the road. Well worth a visit. Good beer, food(probably, not personally tried), and a quiet retreat from the high street. friendly staff too ,(hi, Jade).

Slightly disappointing that we had booked for bottomless brunch only to be informed that they no longer do it (despite it being still advertised on their website) however the very friendly service and gorgeous food and wine made up for it! Best sea bass dish i think i have ever tasted! Highly recommend!

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here with family. The staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful!

In terms of COVID-19 precautions, there were no screens at the bar but there was a lot of opportunity to access hand sanitiser. We ate outside as it was a nice day and tables were spaced well apart. Condiments were brand new to us and had not been used by others. Staff were, however, not wearing face masks at any point during service which was disappointing.

The roasts we ordered were gorgeous - nice big portions, and came with lots of veg. Extra yorkies were 50p each; whilst cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets were £3.50 each. Lots of drinks options on tap, and all reasonably priced.

Whilst there is no dedicated app for ordering online; there is a web-app / website which gave current availability of menu options (which was very welcome!).

Overall, a very nice meal and definitely somewhere we would choose to eat again.

Having been let down by another pub for my partners birthday party, Fiona and her team managed to fit in our party of 18 with less than 24 hrs notice. The staff were so accommodating, great food, lovely atmosphere. Thank you - and we will see you again next year!

We visited here on 31st December and reserved for food and drinks for 17 family members in the afternoon. The area that was reserved was perfect for all 10 adults and 7 children. We were so impressed with the quality of the food and how all 17 meals were presented at the same time. Credit to the chef!!

The atmosphere was lovely. The scent of mulled wine filled the air, the music choice was relaxed and happy and the decor of christmas garlands, baubles and fairy lights are to be rivalled in any venue in Epsom. Superb decor!
The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Fiona, the manager looked after us all so well and is a credit to this establishment.
Very well run and organised. We will definitely be back again 😁
