Bugle Inn

Small portions, they seem stuck in the "Nouvelle Cuisine" era. In the 2022 economic climate, we all want good food and reasonable portions at a realistic price.
Good service by staff, but let down by the areas described above.

We recently stayed at The Bugle for a wedding in Winchester and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They saved the day with allowing us to check in early and we’re brilliant in every way. The best customer service we’ve had in a long time! P.s the breakfast was a very decent highlight of our stay too! Thanks again and we’ll definitely be staying again!

This is such a good lil pub! Wanted a more laid back date night out of the city so randomly chose here and it was perfect. Catered well for gluten free too. The chocolate and mint dessert was amazing :)

Great pub, booked a room which was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Good menu.

We came for a Sunday roast and came with two dogs, the roasts were decent but quite pricey at £18 each. We asked for small scraps of meat for the dogs, but were shocked when we received the bill where we were charged £10! We queried it at the end and the staff member agreed it was a lot, but showed no interest in resolving the matter.

Was a little apprehensive when booking due to 2 hrs time slots, but needn't have worried, although busy the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the ambience. Staff friendly and helpful and food was excellent and we went over our 2 hours!!..An ideal meet up place for us as its half way between our homes so we shall definitely go back.

Great food, beautifully presented (my wife wasn't quite so enamoured hence 4 star). Professional service. Was quite cold in the restaurant but was a very cold winters night. Comfortable bistro pub. Small car park.

Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch. Lovely atmosphere really good staff and friendly customers. Prices are really good and the kitchen really know how to cook. Will be back regularly.
