The Star

Really friendly staff and the food and service was excellent. Our Dog recommends it too with fresh water and bowls provided in the large garden. A* . Great place to stop on the way back from the south.

We booked the Star for an anniversary party. We were about 20 people in total and we had the Sunday roast. The lovely owners and staff were so accommodating and friendly. They even went out of their way to write us an anniversary card. The food was absolutely delicious and well priced. It was a lovely evening and we recommend the star to anyone looking for a lovely meal with a great atmosphere. Thank you ✨🌟

Warm and friendly and welcoming pub with good food and drink, great hosts who put lots of entertainment on from meat raffles, singers, open mic nights and much more for charity. Definitely recommend a visit.

Had a birthday meal there over the weekend. Treated like royalty. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Lovely old pub, full of character with fabulous beer, good food and great outdoor space (lawn with benches and under cover heated seating). Highly recommend

Great outdoor area, dog friendly and good atmosphere. We had topside roast and we were disappointed with the vegetables and no horseradish sauce 😧 good wine at £15 per bottle.

Delicious roast - fresh & plentiful with all the trimmings. Great service and great atmosphere. First time visitors but will definitely be back!
