Good local ale house. Recently re-opened and serving a selection of real ales and craft beer. A proper pub with no fruit machine or piped music - you can have a conversation! No food served, except pickled eggs and crisps. No children and no swearing allowed. Pretty much perfect.

Nice to see it back. Simple and straight forward. Lovely real fires and a pleasant reception from the landlord, who keeps a good range of beers and guest beers too. Other drinks ARE available! Usually full of locals.

Excellent pub, reopened recently, does a great range of beers, good local and national ales, good cider, lager and gin choices. Dog friendly, no food, no kids, no swearing, a proper classic pub in the beautiful village of Great Missenden.

Nice to see this old pub open and serving the local community interesting ales and gins. No hot food, but a good place to come, for a pint of ale and a packet of crisps with friends and only the background soundtrack being, the gentle murmur of local gossip and how United did last night.

Local to the office. Popped in for a swift half on way home from football. Always a well kept pint, choice of 4 real ales, must try harder to frequent.

No frills pub. Cozy atmosphere, clearly a favourite of loyal locals. Proper ale House, so if you're more lager leaning may struggle, but decent wine and a good place to pop in for a drink.

A pub for those who enjoy drink and conversation without the distraction of children, background music or which starter to choose. An old-fashioned pub and all the better for it.
