An awesome spot for lunch after a long walk in Knole Park. Smiley faces and big welcomes as soon as you step through the door and the quality continues right through each course until you decide to leave after a couple of pints and warning up by the fire. Food was on point ans service was great, couldn’t fault it on bit.

We came past this pub on a hike between Ightham Mote and Knole looking for a hearty lunch. The Bucks Head was very cozy, the landlady welcoming. We had some amazingly tender lamb kleftiko and couldn’t resist a pudding as well. If you find yourself in our situation, I can highly recommend popping by.

This is a lovely village pub with a green out front. Dogs are also very welcome here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a good selection of ales on draft and being a Sunday, I had the beef roast. Which was cooked perfectly. The beef was 32 day aged sirloin, which was really tender and moist and came with a good selection of veggies and a big Yorkshire pudding.

Casual dinner with my wife on Friday night. Taken over by James who is a fab chef. Really good food that changes regularly.

The menu here is traditional but also has unusual and lovely dishes. Great food and service. Just be aware there were lots of dogs, don't shout at me I love dogs, BUT a lot of people don't. Anyone with allergies should know.

We stopped here mid-walk around Knole for some lunch. Delicious food - friend said "best pie I've ever had"! Staff were very welcoming and helpful, including when we accidentally spilled tea all over the place.
Very dog-friendly, with beds and water etc. We did get very cold even though there was a fire, think we picked a bad spot. Would go again!

Underwhelming. We had been looking forward to eating here for some time. The reviews were mainly pretty good and I think we were expecting to much. The staff were good and attentive, but the menu was very limited ( this can be a good thing ) but was made up of typical middle of the road pub grub. The food was served in reasonable time, tasty and hot, all the essentials but just just short of the mark. There are a lot of pubs serving excellent food in the area, don't think this is one of them. The beer was good and it's a lovely country location.

Cosy pub offering hearty meals. Delicious roast pork with crunchy crackling. Can highly recommend the cauliflower cheese side. Warm and soft chocolate brownie. Dog friendly and very jolly atmosphere despite incredibly busy. Staff friendly but inexperienced.
