The Wolseley Arms

Was busy as nice hot day. Staff were lovely but shame to say the food wasn't great. Had a table of 3 adults and 2 children, Was very dry, and when asked for some sauce got 2 tiny spoon fulls for the whole table. Kids burgers had no butter or sauce so they had what we was given. Luckily I had a pint of water to wash it down. Just expected a bit more for the price we paid.

First time visiting in over 10 years. First impressions were very good, loved the decor.
To start I had the duck parfait and ham hock terrine which was a solid 10/10. For main I had the fish and chips which wasn’t a stand out but still nice. Very impressed with the ‘mini desert’ option with a coffee! Big thanks to Charlie our waitress who was very attention and didn’t stop smiling. Will definitely visit again.

Great Food, Great Service & Dog Friendly! We had an amazing Sunday Roast Trio and the food was 10/10. There are dog biscuits & water bowls readily available and they are welcomed with open arms. Thanks again.

I really liked this place. I stopped by for a restroom visit. The people around and serving were all really nice, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely be interested in passing by here again. They have 2 spots you can stop by to look at the water. There was a car park to park in.

Nice food, cosy atmosphere. Not much choice for vegetarians. But what was ordered off the menu was good.

Dog friendly pub with great service and excellent ambience. Staff are super friendly and are good at giving you the best recommendations. Food is freshly made and extremely tasty. Good selection of beers and Ciders. Perfect for family and friends. Outdoor seating in the day time is good too. Toilets are clean and plenty of parking available. I recommend the hunter's chicken schnitzel and the chicken pie

Meal with friends booked for late Saturday afternoon. Allocated a lovely spacious table and promptly served with drinks and varied menu. All 4 of us chose different dishes for 3 courses and all agreed we were very happy with each dish. Excellent quality and service from efficient and super-friendly staff. Definitely recommend and will return soon.

Great food and atmosphere. We booked for special family occasion. Staff was working so hard and you could see they were understaffed on our evening of visit, but hey who isn't nowadays? Patience and good wine was definitely a time killer for us. And it was worth to wait as food was just amazing. We will definitely be back soon!
