Went for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday with family. We reserved a table a week ahead, but they were already booked up so that we had to sit in the bar area rather than the restaurant section. However, this is still very pleasant, and despite the food taking a while to arrive, it is well worth the wait. Excellent quality, and very large portions, with friendly service. Not fancy, but really tasty and nicely presented. No wonder this place is so popular!

Not the best or most modern looking places for food but the food really does remind you not to judge a book by it's cover! If you like good, honest food then this place will surpass your expectations. The ploughman's is astounding.
The staff are all really friendly and it has a family run feel.
Just book in advance for Sunday lunch as I'm not the only person that has discovered the food here!!

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here yesterday, the Food was absolutely wonderful, we had Canapés on arrival. A little taste of the range of amazing fresh flavours. Wonderful starters and the 21 day aged roast beef was cooked to perfection. The staff here are so lovely, chatty and attentive. They really can’t do enough for you. Really well priced and a large car park. Will definitely be returning again, these guys definitely deserve a full five stars......

My wife and I had Sunday lunch there and the food was absolutely lovely! The newly reworked restaurant decor and menu will be a huge success I’m sure. I would definitely recommend to others.

Me and my mum love this pub! If you love cheesy chips it’s a must! We are always served by the same man who is the most accommodating waiter I have ever met. He will try his best to be as hospitable as humanly possible. P.S the roast dinners are equally as nice.

Thank you so much to the staff and chefs

The roast was decent however £16 for a mixed meat takeaway roast is very expensive. £42 we paid for 3 takeaway meals.
The food was nice but very steep pricing IMO
