Really lovely little place in Canterbury! A nice friendly bar with a good sized outdoor area as well!
Very handily located just over 5 minutes walk from Canterbury East train station if you head left out of the Dane John Gardens, then follow the road to your right and you’ll see it.
Serves a range of hot food as well as a large selection of drinks in a family friendly atmosphere.

What a lovely little pub tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. It stands close to a beautiful Georgian terrace and looks very picturesque. Food and beer were excellent and the whole atmosphere relaxed and friendly.

A decent Shepherd Neame pub with a nice garden on the outskirts of Canterbury not far from Canterbury East Station.

I enjoyed a nice pint of Bear Island and a Turkish style pizza in their beer garden. Both were served promptly and was reasonably priced.

The selection of the menu was quite small but the food very tasty. I chose an Iberian Pide which is basically a Turkish style pizza with serrano ham and chorizo which was very nice and I definitely recommend.

The garden was nice with some parts undercover and other seating areas further back in the sun giving people a good option where they can sit.

A very good pub which I will definitely return to again when I'm next in Canterbury.

I've visited the White Hart repeatedly while living in Canterbury. It is a great pub with a chilled atmosphere. The staff have been lovely each time I've visited, there is a huge beer garden and good selection of board games to play if you're so inclined. It is perhaps a bit quieter than some of the other pubs in Canterbury too as it is a bit off the high street which is always a benefit (Obviously, it's not dead, it's just not as busy as the ones on the high street).
The White Hart is a good choice of pub if you're visiting :)

Walked past this pub for years on the way to spoons but as meeting just 1 friend decided to give it a go. I saw it was close to station and offered these Pide to eat. Lovely little pub. Really really great atmosphere. Bar and kitchen staff were all extremely pleasant. Had a great evening. My friend left before me to catch train and I happily sat there for another drink chatting with the locals. Can't wait to take family there.

Popped in for a quick drink before the train. Turned out there was a quiz and the pub was very full. We were made to feel very unwelcome. Even though a couple had said we could squeeze on their table we were told to sit in the garden - In November. As there was no other pub nearby we had no choice.
To be fair he put a heater on but that hardly made a difference.
It was also the most expensive pub we'd been in that evening as well.

Great pub. Friendly atmosphere. Good prices too. We ate and drank here and the pies were lovely too.

This is a good pub for a quiet drink. The beer is well cared-for. In the summer there is a sizeable garden.
