The Newdigate Arms

I visited this establishment very recently. It was my first visit but it certainly won't be my last. It is most advisable to book a table if you are intending to have a meal. I didn't book and was lucky to get a table but if I visited again I would certainly make a booking. The food is excellent and the staff are welcoming and very friendly. All in all an excellent venue which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Recently came here for food and drinks after the refurbishment, and wow! Lovely evening. Attentive and friendly staff. Food excellent and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to come back, thanks everyone.

When tonight for my birthday the pub has refurbished very tastefully and waiting staff were very attentive.
We had the Newdigate Platter to share very nice and the best onion rings I've ever had
Main course. We all had Steak, Mushroom and Stilton pie very delicious. Then we had a down fall on the deserts which were over priced and presented poorly so a bit of a downer on otherwise a very nice meal.

Lovely refurbished venue with a great atmosphere. However, our food could have been seasoned better and the gravy thicker - not sure there was much ale in the steak and ale pie. Piping hot, it was not. A wee bit disappointed on this visit.

Booked their new function room for a family gathering of 22 adults 3 children. Room was lovely food was great and red hot. All the staff could not of been more helpful and friendly so not got a single negative everyone was impressed

Turned up with no table reservation and was welcomed by friendly staff and happy to accommodate us.

We had the lunch menu, 2 for £10. Everything was 5 ⭐️’s for our visit, staff was lovely, food was fantastic, hot and good quality and presented lovely too.

Went today for Sunday lunch, Tom and Sammy run a very tight but very organised ship. The young staff are very nice and helpful too, making you feel welcome. We had roast beef, the beef melted in yr mouth and there was plenty of it. All in all our lunch was superb, the plates were nice and hot as was the food. It was very very busy but the staff appeared calm and relaxed.The refurbishment is lovely too. The best Sunday lunch in the area by far. Thank you Tom, Sammy and the Team for making our visit enjoyable.

Booked for Christmas dinner with friends, service was very good food average, thought it was expensive for the amount of food that was served. If you like mashed potatoes and a huge yorkshire pudding then that is good as it looked like it was a big helping, it was only average for me, friends stem broccoli was hard they did mention it to the waitress, however it was ignored. have eaten there before, food quite pricey for the portion sizes.
