We booked a table for dinner while in Canterbury jubilee weekend. Lovely pub restaurant . The service was very friendly and attentive.
Fabulous food , the pies were tasty.
The prawns with salad and homemade chips were amazing.
Good value and portion size.
Staff were great with the children too.
Thank you 🤍❤️💙

Middle aged couple plus dog.
Enjoyed our visit for Lunch time drinks. Very nice barman who was cheerful and welcoming. Lovely outside seating area and dog friendly, both pluses in my book. We didn't try the food but may return and take advantage of our 10%food discount through the camping and caravan club.

We had a lovely delicious lunch and drinks in the garden, on a very unseasonably warm day in late October. What a chilled, friendly place with great music in the background.
We just happened across this pub, and so glad we did. We will definitely go back again when in Canterbury.

Came here to warm up yesterday after a different pub didn't;t put their heating on. What a gem of a place, warm, welcoming, cosy with a real fire. Had the hot rum punch and it was delicious. Staff were lovely. Can't wait to return.

My wife and I made this our local watering hole on a recent visit to Canterbury.
Within walking distance of the town centre (and our hotel) it offers a good place to relax and wind down after a days outing exploring the historic city.
Good traditional pub atmosphere.
Comfortable leather seats.
Helpful, friendly staff.
Good selection of beers on tap and has a gin theme with a many blends to choose from.
Generous quantities, basic, wholesome pub grub at reasonable prices.
No parking.

Recommended when in Canterbury, slightly off the beaten tourist trail but worth the stroll. Lovely decor, staff welcoming and attentive. Great gin menu.
