Boot & Slipper

Came here for lunch earlier. Wow, it was superb. I had the sirloin steak and I can honestly say it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. For a butcher to say how nice the steak was is testimony in itself. Thank you.

Nice mix starter plate shared with my partner and beef ribs were to die for!

The place has just gone over a refurbishing and they have done a great job all around.
I especially love what they have done with the outdoor area. They created loads of space and there is nice roof and heaters for those not so summery days.

Went as a large family gathering this weekend and the service and food were both superb.
Some of our party were delayed but this was catered for without any fuss and everyone was very happy with the starters, main courses as well as puddings.
Should we need to do something similar again, would not hesitate to return once more.

First visit since it was refurbished and I must admit it was really lovely. The bar area and the restaurant all link together beautifully and make it feel much more cohesive than it was before. Plenty of outside seating - again much improved from before. Really lovely staff and the food was also very nice and reasonable prices too. Go along it really is very nice!

Had lovely Sunday lunch here today. Staff were amazing re my friend who is Vegan, even bought out bottles to show her ingredients. Both of our roasts were lovely and hot. My pork belly was perfect, veg ‘tiny’ but hard but was very hot and very tasty. Staff fab. Deffo going back

Visited for breakfast over the weekend and was very impressed with the service! I wish I had taken his name but the lovely man that served us was attentive, kind and left us smiling (and really helped me decide what I wanted) will definitely be visiting again! Also if you order a coffee they also give you a cookie and it’s absolutely delicious and made on the day.

It's a great place to have a drink or meal. They do a great lunch time menu at a good price and the food taste good. The other meals off the mains are tasty too! The staff are great and a shout out to Mia.. she's really attentive and a great host. Going above and beyond.

Christmas day lunch . From the moment we arrived the team made us feel welcome , greeted with a glass of buck's fizz , presents for our grandchild . Meal was Delicious . Service Excellent. Well done Ben and his team. Thank you for making our day so special. K Jones .
