We enjoyed some beers in here not so long ago. The outside sets the tone for inside. The welcoming was warm and a nice atmosphere inside. I'm back in London on business in a couple of weeks . I'll be back for a other few beers 🍻.

Great little pub next to Cannon Street station. It's like walking into an ancient village pub at dusk, whatever time you arrive. Also now doing pieminister pies

Cosy little back street boozer, Harvey’s Sussex Best, Landlord and Doombar on tap and kept well. Kamila and the team always friendly and accommodating. Great deal of a Pieminster Pie and a pint for £11 on Mondays and Fridays.

Good beer. Decent staff. A small, traditional pub in a great location. Gets pretty busy with the office mobs.

A magnificent place, an old school establishment, like stepping back in time. Always a great bar team over the years, a pleasure to visit

Hidden gem is over used, but this pub really is. I used to go here when I first started work in the City in the late 80’s and it hasn’t changed a bit! Staff were excellent too and the place is full of history, seems unbelievable that it was originally a riverside pub! Worth a trip when you’re around Cannon St
