Great food! Excellent fried chicken bucket and the onion rings were superb!

Been to the monkey walk a few times. Really nice place, its a weatherspoons so you get what you expect but its one of the better ones I've been in.

There have been a few times where certain items on the food menu are not available but its normally explained that a menu change is just about to happen.

Overall its a good place to go.

Brilliant pint. Nice place. People nice. Staff nice , polite, very busy pub. Does get packed first half of evening. Get in there after 9pm not to bad.

Steak Night 17/01/2023. Food was lovely as usual but the place was so cold. I didn’t enjoy being there. Will not be going again until it gets warmer.

Enjoyed a five bean chili jacket potato with salad, extra garden peas and roasted vegetables. For drinks I had an Abbott's Ale. The total came to £7.55.
Some respectful information on the walls regarding the town's history.
Jasmine is a credit to the company 👍

Decorating is looking very tired. Table's do need a good clean meals are very standard perhaps a little thought as they look bland
Having to ask for condemns should be accessible no mayonnaise in bottles not to the standard off weather spoons

Another great Wetherspoons, nice staff, good food, good beer. Very close to Snibston colliery park, so you can visit both 🙂
