Brilliant family and dog family pub, thanks to ‘new’ manager Robin and his team. The Compasses is now everything you’d want from your Local - welcoming atmosphere, community oriented.

Great atmosphere , friendly staff , new menu led by the manager Robin , just feels well looked after . The fire always on the go and well tended . Looking forward to taking my parents near Christmas 🎄Johanna and Paul .

One of my favourite pubs in Tunbridge Wells. It looks lovely and festive, great service and they serve a mean "Beyond Meat" burger with rosemary salted fries. A stones throw from the High Street and well worth a visit 😀

Visited last night and a big improvement. The ridiculous one way system is gone so the tension has too. The upper bar has nice tuck and roll seating and the new manager was very friendly and welcoming.
I have never seen Corona beer on tap outside of America, so another n live addition to the extensive range of ales and lagers. Will be back to try the food

Nice Greene King chain pub with pleasant atmosphere in the old town... The pub is frequented by nice locals and had a nice family style vibe, it does get busy most days (especially during holiday periods) so if you want a table I recommend booking in advance... Food menu is quite diverse containing the usual gastro style pub grub offerings you would expect... Staff were polite and service good...

We chose this pub overmany others in Tunbridge Wells, Dinner was stone cold, i complained and it was returned with same cold chips/ veg and a boiling hot pie, with about 5 pieces of tiny cut beef . My partner had cod and chips also cold! No real customer service shown! Shame as seems such a nice place.

Great pub and great food, the manger is a gem very good at welcoming people and very hospitable. They also have some great live music.
