Awesome pub! Microbrewery onsite, fabulous food, in a great location. Spacious beer garden. Staff always happy and enthusiastic. Don't miss the annual festival 🍻

Managed to get a table for my husbands birthday today and we were not disappointed. Family feast for four and were all big eaters. Food was just amazing and a perfect amount. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

It's certainly a very beautiful pub and restaurant for sure. The garden is huge and has plenty of nice shaded nooks under trees. The inside is equally as lovely and it's in a good rural location that hits the spot for an al fresco spritz and lunch in the summer and a fireside roast dinner in the winter. Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden and are well looked after. The menu on arrival was a pleasant surprise too and was thankfully different and nice to the one available online. I'll definitely be back to experience an autumnal and winter day here

Pulled into the Farriers for lunch and a birthday drink for my daughter with her husband.
Accompanied by my wife and Bernie the golden retriever. Very pretty pub lovely gardens and great food. Fish and chips was really really good. Steak sandwiches were spot on. Staff were lovely and looked after us well. Loved the doggy beer keg in the garden really lovely touch. Have already decided we will be going back soon to try the Sunday menu.

Looks like they cater for big parties but perfect for a quite couple.

Proper local pub , heard its run and owned by the local community as well after it nearly closed so another reason to support this place.

Absolutely wonderful experience here for lunch on our way down to Port Lympne. Arranged a secret rendezvous here for opening up time with family and friends to surprise my mum for her birthday. The staff weren't aware but accommodated by letting others in a little early to wait before we arrived. When we did arrive we noted how beautiful the place is, easy parking and a very warm welcome as we entered. My mum then spotted our family happily sat with drinks and it was amazing. The food we ordered (sandwiches and fried) was delicious and huge! Everyone said how awesome their choice was. The drink selection was great too, and the service impeccable. Have to give a huge thank you to staff Jackie (sp?) for being so lovely and chatty, and Danielle too for her part in making it a special visit. Cannot recommend this place enough for the whole package and its delicious food and drink. Hope to be back!

Firstly the good parts.... Reasonable range of food and it tasted good. Located in a lovely part of Kent. Service was acceptable but not exceptional.
Personally I found that it was about 25% too expensive for the size of the portions that finally arrived.

Stopped for a random lunch on way down to Dungeness today and very glad we did. Lovely old pub with several ales on and also their own brewed 1606 which was very good indeed. Wife’s breaded periperi chicken was light and delicious while my scampi in a basket at half the plate price was just the perfect amount. Even though we did not push the boat out on lunch I would expect that if you did, you would not be disappointed. Nice to see a pub brewing its own ale too! Lovely all round and nice garden.
