This is a bikers pub don't expect cream teas and flower arrangements on the table.
Saying that our quite meal on the Thursday evening sat outside the motorhome in the sun was great just me the wife and about 50 bikes and bikers.
We where there for a music festival and found the staff in the pub very helpful and friendly.
The loo and shower are basic but clean and serviceable.
Short walk into Coalville (they have a great butchers)

Disliked: Not a lot you get what you would expect and is advertised.

Liked: We had a fab time, and we will return. Ok the outside loo isn't very nice or clean, but you can use the inside toilets, the pub is open till the small hours, so the outside loo can be avoided.
Small camping area set in a square shape, electric hook up if you need it. Right next to the pub & pub car park, so you can literally leave the pub and fall into your tent!
No frills camping, but the pub is great for entertainment and choice of drinks, fab outdoor space, x2 stages for the bands, one inside, one outside but covered.
Pub does some simple food, but if you fancy anything else or food after hours they have a huge take away menu of places in the area. You can call and have the food delivered to the pub.
Town isn't far away, Wetherspoons is about a 15 min walk.
Nice friendly landlord. We even bought the pub t-shirts!! :)

Disliked: Outdoor loo & we had to pay £8 each to see the bands, a discount would of been nice as we were staying at the campsite. But the bands were worth it anyway :)

Liked: The people that were staying there at the same time as us and it was near the town centre and local shops within walking distance

Disliked: Over rated on website. No food at the pub available, the shower/toilet is a small dirty portaloo, no washing pots facilities,no marked out pitches just a car park so your very close to each other. the pub is very dull inside with grubby seats/tables but the landlord John was helpful and said it was a no bells and whistles place which it definitely isn’t.

Disliked: Shower/ toilet facilities for tourers was disgusting , port a loo which was constantly blocked , told on arrival by the manager at the pub it’s a builders toilet but you get hot water on your head !!
Outside pub advertise they do meals , they dont no cook , advertised outside regarding activities eg car boot ! Manager informed not had one since Covid !

Liked: The owners honesty, the pub venue and atmosphere, town is 15min walk, everything you need !, site is square n tarmac with a grass perimeter for tents, or table n chairs, portable loo with shower, worked !, washing up sink and water, pubs open early so toilets n sinks, easy access into site which is behind pub from main road, the pub is quirky and great for music, much bigger inside than it looks, quite a lot of bikers 1 night, mature and friendly , the staff were great real friendly, the owner John comes across as an honest down to earth guy, I spent 20 mins on leaving with him and as he says " this is not the ritz, it's a functional stop over without ritz prices" lol, I stayed 3 nights and will visit for music and breaking journeys south,

Disliked: I always consider what I pay !! so no dislikes from me

Liked: John the landlord such a nice man with a wicked sense of humour, two live bands bonus, only a five minute walk into the town, had a lovely Indian at balti nights, if you want a friendly, welcoming very reasonably priced place to stay this is it, do not expect five star facilities on the toilet front but you can use the ones in the pub, will we come back definitely thank you Victoria bikers pub had a great weekend

Disliked: Nothing
