Nice weatherspoons in a good location.
Parking in the market Square is good but busy. The first hours free (still need to get the ticket) and then after 6pm there is no charge so an evening dinner is well timed.
Standard food and drink for a weatherspoons. Staff seemed nice and the toilets were cleaner than most.
I have only knocked a staff off due to the table being unclean (sticky and had salt on it) and the windows were not open on a very hot day so it was very hot inside.

Good meal and soft drinks for 3 people for under £25 is excellent these days. Only 3 stars as not enough staff on duty when we visited - 11th October 2022 at 6pm - and we had to wait a while in a growing queue. Good natured staff (& customers!!) even so & the food was served quickly. My steak was cooked exactly as I asked but had a few bits of gristle. My friends' mixed grill & ham, eggs, chips were well received though. Seemed like a familiar place for many people there as they knew to look in the cupboards under the salt/pepper stand for new bottles of vinegar etc if running low ☺️☺️ An ok place for no nonsense food and surroundings.

Pub very badly organised , tables left for too long with plates and glasses . Had to move glasses to another table before we could be seated more than once. There was one young girl glass collecting , cleaning tables and delivering food - she was doing a great job. We stayed in the hotel . Our room was clean but quite dated , would benefit from a spruce up . Bottom of shower tray needed repainting ( shower itself was excellent ) and the bathroom window had bars on it ?? and the window frame was rotting . Thirsk itself is a lovely little town but not sure if we would stay here again.

As always this Weatherspoon, The three Tuns is a great place to go and have a good meal , well cooked and presented and Definately very good value . A good supply of drinks from the bar or good coffee at the machine adds to the pleasure of eating here in this restaurant.
A big building with plenty of seating within various rooms of this fantastic building. Definately would recommend eating here , before you wander around the very quaint town of Thirsk.

The staff at this Wetherspoons were excellent and extremely friendly and polite. Despite a large section of the pub been closed off (it was nearing closing time) it still felt roomy and comfortable.

Whilst at the bar, a customer mentioned someone was been a little rowdy, the staff were reassuring to the customer that they were monitoring the situation.

Will most certainly be returning to this Wetherspoons.

Unfortunately, this pub has a rough edge. The staff don't manage loutish behaviour and it's messy and unkempt in appearance. On a positive, good selection of Real Ales and warm fire.

The only reason I have given one star is because I had no choice they can not even warm soup up panini was more like a cold sandwich the chips should have been advertised as triple cooked because they were brown the waiter was very rude this weatherspoons definitely lives up to the reviews
Terrible if you want nice food go to weatherspoons at Northallerton never again !
