Been a couple of years since I have been in the Gen Napier and what a change. Totally transformed interior and now a cosy welcoming local pub. Cosy corner for the sports enthusiasts but equally coffee tables and settees for the Sunday afternoon papers. Well done

The pub has just recently been taken over by new owners who are absolutely lovely. They have completely redecorated the place which was well overdue. It’s such a lovely atmosphere now with such friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend!! The landlady Becs is such a lovely character… a breath of fresh air🥰

Lovely little family friendly pub. All the staff are so warm and welcoming and they have great little karaoke nights/charity events every month which are always such fun and a great laugh. My family have been using this pub for over 40 years :)

Lovely pub - really friendly and welcoming and we had a great Sunday roast. Highly recommend the beef! First visit for us but we'll def be back!

A very friendly back street boozer. Nice beer garden, great landlord and a proper institution. More pubs like this please.
