We came for dinner and to watch the ladies football final. Great staff very helpful landlord was great at making everyone feel welcome. We will be back soon. Thank you. My hubby loved coming in while we were on holiday Yougrave is a lovely village and we have already booked to return next year. Can't wait, so much to do in the peak district also.

We visited at start of May, excellent food and friendly staff. Cannot recommend enough, you will not be disappointed! ( the best pub food I've had in the world!). I'm writing this several months after the visit, goes to show this place is class!

Extremely unfriendly bar person who looked like she was working under duress, seemed to delight in telling us the kitchen was closed early because they'd served 40 people already! This was 40 minutes before the advertised end of food service. Couple of decent beers but that's about it. Don't plan it into a walk if you're going to be hungry.

They fitted us in at short notice, so glad they did. Food was really good, I had brisket of beef and hubby had home made pork & apple pie, both delicious! Staff were friendly and efficient considering they were so busy! Would recommend!

We ate twice last week at the Bulls Head last week. It isn’t the first time we have eaten there, which says a lot. We always book in when we are in the area. As usual the food was excellent, and the quantity more than we could manage. I don’t think we could find a friendlier and more convivial place to spend the evening. Thank you to the landlord, his staff and other customers!
We will be back!

So cute a proper country pub. Pre ordered the food so it was very prompt. The value is exceptional, decent standard beers. Cozy in winter and will be an amazing stop off on a cute country walk in summer

Great place for a drink and food. There's a dog friendly bar and the pie was amazing. The only downside is that all other pubs pies will never be the same again. Friendly service and a nice welcome.
