Popped in after work for a few drinks and food. Menu extensive as always, and we ordered through the app for the first time. The food and drinks came over really quickly and food was great. Generous portion, well cook and well seasoned. I had the gourmet burger with grilled chicken and was lovely. Priced like you would expect for a Spoons, 2 Gordon's pink gins for £5.50 and the burger was £7.75 inc. an alcoholic drink. No complaints

Generous drinks pricing, especially during these trying times, and lovely bouncy thriving atmosphere. Busy with lot's of customers, creating an almost 'party atmosphere'. My friends and I had an excellent visit there, and I'll gladly recommend this lively pub.

very inexperienced staff, looked like they were thrown in the deep end. not very good support from managers, customer service was very poor, some of the floor staff did their best and I am sure they will get better. I sent back a poor quality beer that was changed without question however the pump clip was not removed and they continued to serve beer from that pump, the feel in side was nice and comfortable and the whole pub was very clean so I hope it can only improve, managers need to help the bar staff more and pay more attention to customers instead of their mobile phones.

I'm quite upset. Just visited with my 2 kids for breakfast. My son couldn't eat his food. I asked for a takeaway box . Was told there was none. I asked for tinfoil only to be told there was none of that. Money is tight . This was a treat. Which I don't often do. What a wastage of 4 pounds 20p. My son had one bite. I think it is pretty poor to nit even have tin foil or cling film . Such a shame I feel this low at the start of the day.

I do enjoy a Spoon's
And came to this one as its seemed inviting. Musy say enkoyed my drinks, and enjoyed my food. Came out in a timley manor and filling.
A fe complaints. Staff were very inexperienced and had only been working for them for a couple of days. But left on their own to man the bar and deal with customers demands and constantly cleaning. At first no managers in sight and when mangers did show their faces they didnt bother to help or pay any attention to their new staff. New staff asking questions about the job and manager just huffing and puffing not teaching or training these new guys. Also managers constantly on their phones. Even saw 1 on facetime walking around the pub talking to who ever. Terrible customer service from the managers. Hope the new staff are trainned by a proper manager who actually cares about its staff and customers.

Someone needs to have a serious looking into the management here.

Not a good look...

Good cheap boozer to be fair, good atmosphere felt safe and fun. If in town definitely worth a visit for and old chin wag over a few cold 1's

The world's end more like! Very very disappointing. My mum's been coming here for years with her friends and the last couple of times have been horrendous. Wrong food delivered, cold, rude lady at the bar. This is not acceptable, places like this are disappearing as it is, they'll be gone sooner if they work like this.

Went at quiet time, quieter than the other regular JDW's next door but one!
Brighter too, but had to move seats to escape cold downdraft... In December!
