What an amazing place. Beautiful location and scrumptious food. Probably the best meal we had in our 7 days in Devon. Lovely hospitality and great cider 👍 if we ever visit Devon again we will definitely be visiting here.

What an absolute gem of a pub, the food is amazing, all local produce and cooked to perfection, if you love a Sunday roast after a long walk then look no further as this is a belter of a Sunday roast, the service and the welcome from Dean & Lynn is second to none, give it a go you wont want to leave.

After arriving without a reservation for the Sunday carving on a bank holiday weekend, we were received with open arms and were quickly shown to a beautiful table. After a welcoming story of the owner (who is a ex-professional rugby player, mind you!) the superb staff went all out showing us their varied menu. We ordered the Sunday roast with a perfect Yorkshire pudding which all tasted as wonderful as the friendly faces and welcoming smiles of both the owners and the ever smiling waitresses. It seems lovely to work here. The crumble with custard took me back to my youth. All this for less then £40. This was probably one of our best pub experiences in the whole of south England. Please do ask the ex rugby player what the French word on the rugby shirt actually means 😉

Very welcome pub in a small village. Good beer selection selected by landlord (originally from oop north so included Jennings, ex rugby player too so sport on in bar too). Well worth going out of the way for.

Wonderful pub with the nicest staff and friendliest patrons. Being a complete out-of-towner, they welcomed me and my pup with open arms and wonderful conversation (as well as beer samples). Steak & ale pie was also delicious! Can't wait to go back to this lovely country pub.

Just had Sunday lunch. What can you say other than excellent. We have been there several times whilst on holiday it never fails. Landlord and landlady always give you a very warm welcome. We would recommend this pub to everyone.

Came to the Bridford with 11 friends this afternoon to have a post walk roast dinner. We were warmly welcomed by the publicans, who catered to our every need, including extra cauliflower cheese, gravy and ice creams with the puds. The selection of different roasts were all delicious and everyone in the pub was so friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
