This is a cracking little pub with a warm old school welcome the likes of which is a rarity in other local Lewisham pubs. An ever expanding beer range with two real ales always on tap. Free food platters in the evenings too. Darts, live sport and live music add to the atmosphere of this lively, genuine Irish pub. Recently started serving food and I'm told the Sunday roast top notch. Well worth a visit.

So... as a girl of Irish descent... I came into the pub first looking to use the toilet. But had to promise a drink before I used it. I did so. Came back to get a drink, and obviously all Irish are known for being really friendly and happy. But not this guy. Tom... was really rude to me. I sat at the bar. Had a drink and asked him where he was from. He became very sarcastic. I told him I was from an Irish family and he completely ignored me and moved on to speak to his regulars. He really embarrassed me and the pub was very quiet so his regulars heard everything. I kept trying but was refused his attention which was even more embarrassing. I have never encountered this ever... especially from the irish, but he was so rude. Never in my life did I thought I would ever give a bad review to an Irish pub but the way he made me feel I feel it's a must. I'm sad I have to review this place in a bad way. Maybe Tom had a bad day, but the way he made me feel was really horrible. I'll never recommend this pub.

I use this pub occasionally, and I find the staff fantastic and so attentive. The bar is always clean, the empties are picked up immediately. You never have to wait to be served as the staff are on the ball and looking to serve. The owner is a good guy, he and his partner work hard as he does the cooking too. They always speak and make time for everyone that comes in. They regularly have a bit of Irish or country music which I love. I would recommend this place.

Best pub in Lewisham by far, great atmosphere amongst the locals when you sit at the bar. Perfect if you like sport as well, especially football, horse racing and gaa sports. Good range of lagers all under 4 quid as well which is rare in London nowadays. Live Music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well, you never fail to have a good time. Well done to Declan the governor and his family for keeping the pub going!

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Nice pint of Guinness. Loads of screens to watch sport on, I might just become a regular.
