Atmosphere lively and friendly.

My food was great. Had the Duck Breast with the super salad. Duck breast was perfect, slightly pink in the middle and a beautifully crispy skin.

Doesn't look much from the outside but don't let that fool you, it is a really nice, inviting pub. Would happily eat there again.

Food was very good, service was excellent. Price's good. We enjoyed and recommend to anyone in the area, whole lot better than hotel food.

Perfect chillin in a cozy terrace for my flight layover ⭐️
Great deal of Two Pub Classics - really good Fish&Chips and Scampi!
Camden lager is so refreshing!
Clerks are nice as well.

Definitely will come back😁

Thanks

The building is charming and historic, the staff was friendly, humorous and helpful! The food was reasonably priced and quite good (particularly the batter they fried most things in), the ciders and beers on tap were excellent and the experience was great for me and five others! Give it a go, cheers!

My husband had their Chicken and ham pie and he enjoyed it so much. I ordered their Mac n Cheese which was so creamy and rich. Very delicious. Also wanted to try their open face sandwich, avocado and pickled red onion. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good this was. It all worked so well together especially with some of the arugula they added to the dish.
A very good find close to our hotel. Will go back next time we are in town.

Went with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised with the "Two classics for £13" offer. Decided on the scampi and was excited to order.

We entered the queue. There were 3 people in front of us. After waiting for 10 minutes for the waiter to process the orders of the people in front of us they closed the register and instructed us to order from the bar. After waiting another 5 minutes we ordered.

The scampi finally came and check out the photo how it looked like. Not only were they fairly disgusting, but the portion was laughably small.

My friend ordered a vegan dish with peas on the side. I am sad I don't have a photo of his dish, but he literally got 10 peas as a side. He called in the waiter and asked whether they are seriously expecting that 10 peas as a side dish makes sense. They said yes. He said the actual main was quite good though.

So, from my experience, terrible service and disappointing food.

The Strongbow dark fruit cider was very tasty though.

EDIT: was dragged to the pub again by the same friend from the review. I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The burger came lukewarm. That being said, it was tasty and the sweet potato fries were great. On the other hand, we waited more than 30 minutes for our meals even though they told us there was no wait for the food. Reheating a pie and preparing a burger shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. Also, my friend's french fries came cold and hard as a rock. The staff was nice to give him fresh ones after he complained. To conclude my edit, yesterday's experience was better than my previous one so I'm increasing my review from 2 to 3 stars because these is still a lot of room for improvement.

Very nicely decorated restaurant pub near Heathrow Airport.. may different type of beers on the tap (but the beers are not cold enough. Maybe the Brits like it this way)

Many food items on the menu are not available and the food orders took an hour to be served (this brings the stars down to 3).

Very standard dishes and tasted okay.

Not much options in this area.. so it's still a good option if you have time to spend waiting for your food.

We made reservations for dinner at 6.30pm, arrived on time, got seated immediately.

Ordered our meal by the bar at 6.45 to 6.50pm. And had to bring our own beers to the table.
We ordered a plate of lasagna, chicken tikka masala, lamb shank, chicken sharer, hunter's chicken and fish & chips.

We received chicken sharer plate at 7.19pm
Hunters chicken and fish & chips at 7.48pm
Chicken tikka masala and lasagna at 7.50pm
Lamb shank came out at 8.04pm

Side salads don't come with any dressing, it was completely plain. We had to "grab" ketchup and mayo from another table whose patrons has departed but the table was still a mess.

Looks to me that they are understaffed but, waiting over an hour for our main meal is a little much isn't it..
