Outstanding experience every visit. On this occasion we visited on 14/02/22 and was greeted in a great and friendly manner, instructed of the menus and specials etc as well as available seating.

We ordered some starters (3 for £12 on starters was a fantastic offer!). We then ordered mains - I had the pizza and my partner had the mega chilli cheese burger, we both ordered sides of the special mozzarella dough balls and a side of inferno sauce for dipping. The pizza was delicious and the perfect thickness - soft but still with a slight crisp! My partners burger was insane - stacked up high, definitely worth every penny. The mozarella dough balls were my absolute favourite - they were on the specials menu and tasted fresh and homemade. We were absolutely stuffed after all the food so we did take some of the dough balls home which made for a lovely treat the next afternoon!

The service was incredible and couldn't fault it. There was a young lad working on the bar (I think his first shift) and he was fantastic. Really polite and friendly! Will be returning again 😊

Had a lovely meal with my kids the fish was massive and was bigger than the plate , all fresh and hot. Definitely worth the money . The new manager matt was lovely too very helpful and friendly . Thanks

Ate here a few times can't comment of the other dishes what I will is the Burgers are absolutely gorgeous. Probably the best burger pattie I've tasted in years. You can double or even triple your burgers up, but i stuck with the double which was filling enough. Comes out on a fresh roasted bun with salad and you don't need any sauces or ketchup because the burger meat tastes so good. Really thick and meaty without being greasy. My boys had pizza which also tasted nice. Definitely return for the burgers than anything. Good selection of beers and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Haven't had too wait for more than a couple of minutes too get served. But of you do go, try the burgers. You won't be disappointed 😋

Not sure why all the bad reviews, we walked in yesterday a family of 9, had mixed meals of burgers, pizza, steak, kids meals under 5s, sides, puddings and drinks and couldn't fault anything wrong with the food. The man behind the bar was well mannered and polite. It's the first time I've come here and I'd def come back again.

The manager and his team have a lot to do before the doors of this business should be allowed to open. There is no sense of direction and food service delivery is absolutely abysmal. I now understand why it was very quiet in the restaurant area on a Friday night. We should give it a one star but have shown some compassion as I am not a malicious person.

I had my father's wake there last Thursday.(10 November 2022) Dale and his team could not have be more helpful. The service was excellent. We had a corner of the pub to ourselves.(not the function room because of the stairs for my elderly relatives) Everyone enjoyed the hot buffet and commented on how good the food was. A very good selection. I was delighted everything went well.

Place was so busy but staff couldn't do enough to help. The customer service was amazing, really friendly and attentive. Food was beautiful, everything cooked really well... Good portions and very reasonable prices. I'd definitely go here again. Highly recommend.

Really disappointed, although we made the bad experience into a nice one thanks to the family. It was my husband retirement meal with our family. My son booked a table 2 weeks before and even rang a few days before to confirm. We got there and only seen 3 members of staff on, we eventually was approached by I presume the management. Nothing was put down for the booking but luckily he found us a big table it wasn't the one we asked for but Hay ho. He said there is a 40 minute wait for food and he hadn't got a high chair which we asked for. Eventually my son found one with another 3 in a corner. Eventually over an hour later we received our food which was very nice we couldn't fault that. We had 3 young children and luckily they was very patient. We then decided on pudding they said it wouldn't be long, that turned out to be half hour wait. It was clearly understaffed and I felt sorry for the staff running themselves ragged. As my family left my husband and I was waiting for our taxi a girl then started putting reservations signs on the tables, why couldn't they have done that with ours to start with. Although the food was lovely we won't be visiting again very soon.
