Sacred Orchard

This pub used to be really good, went first at the start of 2021 when the rules changed so you could eat outside. Staff were nice and the meal was really great and affordable. In September 2021 we started going the pub quiz here which we attended nearly every week, we really enjoyed it and it became a part of our week and for someone who suffers with social anxiety it was a nice way to get out and interact with people. January this year the management changed and I started to notice a decline in customer service and that some of the staff were not the same as before and then they cancelled the quiz with no explanation on their Facebook page or website. Won’t be coming here again unless they bring back the quiz and I’m sure some of the other teams probably feel the same, such a shame as this pub had a nice atmosphere to it 😞

Great pub experience. Staff very attentive and welcoming as soon as we entered and waited on us very promptly and efficiently. I Was pleasantly surprised by the service and has a nice kids play area to get adults some peace. Photo of the potato cheese and leak pie with sweet potato chips.

This was my first visit as my daughter recommended and enjoyed very much.
On arrival the waiter was welcoming and took us to our dining table. Atmosphere was nice and table neat/tidy.
We ordered the calamari and chicken wings to start, tasted fresh and piping hot.
For the mains we ordered steak and again not disappointed, cooked to perfection.
The staff we're very pleasant and made us felt at home. I will definitely be visiting again with friends and work colleagues.

Never been before, popped in with my niece for a quick lunch. Staff were all absolutely lovely, the one waitress had a nice chat with my niece at the end about what we have done today, the waiter just seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Food was spot one. Would definitely return if in the area again

Had a family meal over the weekend, loved the choice on the menu, great location just off the main road but you couldn't hear the traffic. Lovely little play area along the side for the little ones. Free parking outside as well. Recommend a visit!

Lunched here today, we were seated immediately, given menus and ordered drinks, which arrived quickly. Took a while for our food order to be taken, once they knew we had to be in Chester in the afternoon the food was served very quickly, and was very tasty. Dessert was served as soon as we'd finished our mains, which is worth a visit just for that! Eager to please friendly staff. Recommend! :-)

Thank god for Arthur, he saved the review by asking and caring on the way out. Stopped off for an EV charge as there is a quick charger 22kW 44mph (card behind bar). Welcomed in and seated quickly, needed toilet and asked for a menu, sat down for 10 mins the went to find a menu, and ask for a drink, sat down again and waited for the drink whist choosing a snack from the Limited menu. The BBQ chicken and cheese melt sandwich looked good with salad. 15 mins later a tiny burned sandwich with limp salad arrived (photos attached). Arthur was run off his feet and Limited support, more staff required! I had to collect the Bill, But he did ask if it was OK and I did say it was poor so he apologised and knocked off 20%. Not that busy and should have been a 5 star experience with the ambiance and service, maybe next time?

Always a favourite go to of mine. Lovely pub just on the outskirts of town serving really nice food and drinks in a very relaxed and calming atmosphere. Food came out hot and promptly and staff are always friendly and helpful. We visited here back in August with family and the sacred orchard made provisions for a large number of guests. In October 2021 we had our sons christening meal here and again, could not have chosen anywhere nicer for the event. Recommended
