The roast dinner was superb. The mac and cheese with crispy kale and chilli jam was really good. Great place to take the kids. Nice staff and good prices. Very noisy in a nice Way!

Nice local pub in an old legion hall. Spacious and quiet on a weeknight. Not exactly cosy, but good for catching up with friends over a pint, and the retro decor has a charm to it, as it appears largely unchanged for at least 50 years. Food is serviceable.

Traditional English pub (portrait of the Queen!) in a quiet area of Crouch End. Smoking permitted in a large side outdoor area. Accepts credit cards. Has cell phone chargers behind the bar and a simple selection of snacks for purchase after dining hours. Large indoor area. Good for first dates or catching up with friends.

A quaint, funky little joint with a cosy atmosphere. The Sunday chicken roast was fantastic! The fish and chips also looked great. Be sure to book, or you'll be disappointed.

Scruffy old school social club - decent if you like that type of thing. Cheapish beer (for London), good selection of ales, lager and IPAs plus wines.

Slightly shabby, as all good pubs are. Friendly staff. Good range of drinks, including nice cider on tap. Does inexpensive food. Dog and child friendly. Holds events occasionally: film screenings, craft fairs, etc.

I love this place. Old school working man's club/ music hall that hasn't overhauled the interior dramatically to make it into something it is not. Great beer, friendly, knowledgeable service. Great food .
A good local spot that I am willing to travel to to have a quiet pint w/out a load of posers.

Fantastic spot. Great Sunday roast, casual converted social club with sofa and arm chair options. Raised stage for occasional live music. Pinball machine and fuzeball table (but no screens for football). Little outdoor area to catch sunbeams on summer days.
