Great Pub! Wonderful visit here for a few pints and a meal. (Fish and chips & Cheese Burger). Quick courteous service, immaculate pub and the meal was wonderful.

We ordered the fish and chips and short rib and flank burger. Both were absolutely delicious, the burger was BEYOND. The american bartender also gets five stars. All around a great experience!

Very good fish and chips. Beer is also good. Employees are very friendly. For anyone who searches for cheap places to eat and/or drink its not the right place for you, its a little bit expensive, but not too much.

I love the Roasts here so much. I brought my friend from the US here so she could sample one and she was instantly obsessed. She also tried a Scotch Egg (also delicious) and an Eton Mess style dessert that was also new to her and she loved it all, as did I.

I would’ve given it fewer stars but I did enjoy my food, my boyfriend loved the steak sandwich, the service was quick, and for £26 for 2 lunches and two beers, pretty good value! However, kind of stingy with the avocado on the toast, and the stem end from the avocado was still in there!! poached eggs were a bit overdone, but as I said, it was still tasty.

Went on a Friday night. Joyful, boisterous and tipsy. A band was playing, people were dancing and the drinks were nice.

If you’re looking for a high-end pub experience, look no further than the grove. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete craft beers and cocktails, all expertly served by a knowledgeable and attentive staff. No-one was more hospitable than the manager, Kate, who was accommodating of all needs.

But the real star of the show at the grove is the food. The menu features a mouthwatering array of pub classics and modern twists on traditional dishes. And don’t even get me started on the dessert - it’s the perfect way to end your meal.

Overall, the grove is a must-visit for anyone looking for a truly authentic pub experience. The atmosphere, service, and food are all top-notch, making it a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommended

Amazing Sunday Roast! Not many places you can find that offer you 3 different Sunday types of meat in one dish. All meats are juicy and tender, and everything is accompanied by different sauces. Nice meal presentation; service is polite, efficient, and friendly—great atmosphere, clean and organised inside and in the garden. Highly recommend The Grove for a catch-up with friends, a meal with the family and kids, or a relaxing evening.
