Stumbled upon this pub and was pleasantly surprised! Amazing atmosphere, right on the water and awesome service, too. Good beer and good food! Highly recommend this pub! Will be back on my next residential in Cambridge.

This has to be the funniest pub ive ever been to! Imagine musical chairs.

They reservation system is a mess and they have about 10 tables. We were initially peeved off at the fact that we were constantly being moved from table to table because of reservations. However, when we realised literally everyone in the entire pub was doing the same it was classic entertainment. 🤣

In all seriousness though don’t come here for a relaxing meal, you will be forced to play musical chairs. The millworks next door is far superior and the staff treats their customers with respect.

The view, the location, the drinks are really great. One of the most beautiful places to have a evening/night out.

Lovely light and spacious dog-friendly pub with not one but two terrace beer gardens. Go for the back one along the riverfront and laugh at all the bad punting! Delicious halloumi fries the size of doorstops too

Lovely spot on the river by a punt hire place. Not a large selection on the menu plus while we were there some things were unavailable today food and service was very good.

Decent drinks selection, satisfactory facilities, kind and attentive staff. Location is exquisite. Outdoor seating is sufficient, indoor too. Host a good quiz night and live music has also been a solid evening here too.

We came here on the 15th of January 2022, we were able to sit down immediately as it was relatively quiet. I ordered the buffalo wings and the cauliflower cheese to come out as a main.

We had to wait 45 mins for mine to come out and they brought me the wrong thing. The rest of my party did not have food yet. To say sorry they offered I keep the incorrect thing they’d given me. It took another 20 mins for their food to come out and it was entirely average.

The buffalo wings were ok but small and the cauliflower cheese wasn’t very cheesy. The atmosphere was nice but it just took so long and was so average.

We did eat it all,we were very hungry. Especially after the hour wait.

Really lovely quality of food served here. I am so glad it’s no longer a green king, instead it’s an independent pub. It definitely has a different but better atmosphere. The only downside was that the wait time was longer than an hour, but it’s definitely worth it for the food!
