I have used this pub frequently but only for meals. They offer 2 main meals for £8 and it is excellent value. We have tried the fish and chips and the gammon stake with chips. Both are always freshly cooked, adequate in size for the price and tasty. Our visits have been early afternoon. At this time there is only one person behind the bar and they are not always there. Staff are very polite and efficient. The pub is never any where near full. Sometimes the background music is a bit loud but they will turn it down in certain areas if asked. The main clientèle is middle aged upwards during the day and they are not at all noisy. Environment is very basic, they do have a big screen sports TV on, and just about clean but don't drop your food on the floor! Sometimes they run out of the fish and chips for the meal deal as they seem to have a limited supply of the 'smaller' fish portions. The regular fish portions are available but not on the meal deal.
In summary, good pub for a reasonable meal, never crowded but basic.Park outside or just round the corner but charged as is all of Beckenham.

What a proper pub run by a father and daughter team. The pub is used by all sorts of tradesman as well as families. Went there for a featured live entertainment, what a great night out. Keep up the good work!

Bar was very quiet for a saturday night and the cider on tap tasted off. Although the gentleman behind the bar was very friendly, it seemed like more of a bar for the locals and lacked a super welcoming atmosphere. That being said, the decor was nice, the sport was on and the seats comfortable.

Friendly locals pub. It’s great in the winter with their big open fire. Staff are welcoming, chatty and friendly. Some more interesting beers would be great though. Nicely tucked away down some backstreets with other pubs nearby to crawl to.

This is a diamond of a pub. Came here with mates on a Christmas pub crawl. We're all from Bromley but don't come to this pub enough. It's an absolute gem- friendly landlord, lovely patrons and an all round good laugh! Cannot recommend enough!

Friendly and welcoming pub. Nice and cosy, lots of entertainment and games such as pool/darts. Drinks are more expensive than other places nearby but worth paying the extra for the environment/vibe.
