What a lovely, friendly, traditional pub. The food is great and very well priced. We have only just moved to the area and the owner and staff made us feel very welcome. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Had lunch .... pub has a traditional atmosphere. Kids welcome. The food was fantastic , portions very generous . Will be returning again for sure when next in Crawley !! Went back for sunday roast ( march 2018) sunday roast was awesome literally home cooked ..proper roast potatoes !!!. Live music fab atmosphere, friendly staff . Cant reccommend this pub enough. A proper traditional friendly old style pub.

Family Sunday lunch for six. Turned up on spec due to a change of plans. Pretty much a locals pub, but very welcoming to us non-regulars. Garden at back had two large rabbits (which amused the children). Ordered a variety of main courses - all of which were finished enthusiastically. Roast beef (plus roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and veg) was delicious! Particularly enjoyed the cabbage (which had been cooked with bacon). Not as flash as some other pubs, but just a welcoming and comfortable place. Would definitely consider for a second visit.

I went at lunchtime it was empty, only around 5 people present. They're wasn't pub grub available only bread rolls crisps. Sat in the rear garden and it's a mess, hardly any grass, not much seating, no flowers or plants. Quite depressing compared to other nearby pubs. Hard to believe this pub is making any profit at all let alone covering wages. Why is this place even open?

Only had drinks, the place has alot of potential. If food were served there. Needs a revamp if honest. I'm sure it will carry on bring a cosy pub tho, well I hope it does
