Good real ales. Love the seacider. Occasional bands. Friendly staff. More a drinkers pub than an upmarket wine bar style but still female friendly. Small smoking courtyard at rear

Went to the Castle Ale House with a friend. It was quite pleasant. The atmosphere was seemingly quiet considering it was the end of the week! However all in all, it was really welcoming and inviting. Lovely place to go. I recommend this place to casual groups or to those who enjoy a quiet social drink!

The Castle is a cosy and friendly local pub. They do a good line in pub entertainment, quizzes and suchlike and live music. It's a bit the worse for wear and I felt my pint was expensive for Worthing but I'd cheerfully drop in again.

Nice rock and roll band. Small but full of life pub

Now reopened as Toad In The Hole and owned by Hand Brew Co who have a brewery and tap room in West Worthing. Two cask beers and a number of keg beers are on offer.

Great real old style pub.. good selection of real ales and lagers and the odd leathal cider. Great live music night too.

Lovely maître d' lady. We had a great time watching the England-Ukraine match with the locals. We desperately tried to find a pub in Worthing, to watch the match, but we didn't book anywhere. It almost seemed impossible to find anywhere, when we walked into The Castle, where we were kindly greeted, and told there was a no show, so we got a table, and finally managed to watch the second half of the game.
