Went to The New Board Inn for my birthday. 3 of us had lasagne with chips, garlic bread and salad garnish. 1 had corned Beef pie and chips. No desserts as we were full up. Beautiful meal, good price and got a doggy bag to bring back some pie. We visit often and are never disappointed. Very extensive menu

My husband and I both had Steaks and they were cooked perfectly, the onions rings were delicious too, will be back again soon 😋

Absolutely rank , should have complained at the time . We all had scallops to begin with which were tasteless and about the size of a polo mint . Then one of us had a rump steak which came with 2 onion rings, 4 mushrooms and a few chips but what topped it, 2 of us had sizzlers which didn’t sizzle as they were swimming in a disgusting sauce. It looked like a 2nd rate stir fry . Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone to go for something to eat, not surprisingly one of our guests woke up today with what I would say is food poisoning

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the food that I had wasn't the nicest.
The portion sizes are generally very good, but the chicken seemed processed and fatty, so was the other elements of the dish.
Some of the other food that others had was again ok.
I would like to give this place another try in the future.
I would definitely recommend going in for a drink and cake if you were in the area.

Nice food, very quiet when we were there @17,30. Food was nice but just not enough for a big appetite

We love this place never had a bad meal there so when we finally had a chance to go kid free we decided to go for the steak ... had great expectations but unfortunately we were disappointed. They were gristly tasteless tough and overcooked. It cost £59.10 for 2 steaks 2 cokes and a sticky toffee pudding (Scrumy). We will go back but not for the steak....
