I had a great experience here. Very fair prices. Great staff, a real credit to the inn. I enjoyed my food. They did a very good job of looking after my wife who must eat strictly gluten free

A group of 6 of us had supper here as we stopped at Ellesmere for the night on the canal. Lovely food, drinks and atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Opted for the Surf and double turf which was delicious and a good portion.

Called in for lunch recently.
I ordered of the specials board and was totally delighted with the food that was presented.
I had Lamb kebab and being a bit of a foody I could tell how fresh and homemade everything was.
I could of been sat in a restaurant in Greece the food was that authentic.

The food was amazing on our wedding and all the other times we came to eat, the staff were amazing.

Just a great place to relax and enjoy some good food/drinks.

Just had an amazing meal here. Excellent food and service. Finally found somewhere that has excellent value for money and loads of choice. Well done and thank you for an amazing Birthday meal. ☺️

Went there last night and the food was amazing the portions are massive and lovely.. Only down side was the main course came out straight after the starters so really struggled to eat the main meal.and that's why gave 4 stars. We will definitely come back again but just have a main meal

Great place to eat drink and stay at. Staff very friendly and hard working. Food is excellent as with the atmosphere and decor. Rooms very spacious and very clean. Lots of good local walks in the area plus shops if needed.

Friendly & relaxing atmosphere with an extensive menu. Food arrived promptly and was to a high standard at a reasonable price. Will definitely return again next time we are in the area, thanks for a pleasant experience!
