Very carefully restored former cinema that's now a very busy Wetherspoons pub and restaurant. I was fortunate enough to enjoy the autumn real ale festival and had three thirds of a pint, tasting three different ales for under £2.
Some friendly characters in here who I'd never met before and welcomed me into their local.

Had a really lovely meal in here with the family. I had the chicken strips with chips. Wasn't too bad, cooked nice and served hot when it came to the table whick was good. They had a food selection of standard drinks and cover all the basics of what everyone will like. Price is nice and cheap and the tables were constantly kept clean when people left. Staff were a little slow at times but very friendly and helpful.

Excellent beer garden, nicest spoons beer garden I've been to. Plenty of tables out the back. They also have some tables out the front which are pretty cosy. Ordered at the bar and through the app. Bar service was quick. App service for drinks was a little slower than normal for spoons but food through the app came quick and was lovely. Very nice and cosy interior. I'm not from the area but overall a 5 stars and will visit again when staying nearby

The plaza has friendly staff, the place is the poor relative of wetherspoon s. The pub is desperate in need of refurbishment the seats have no support . The pub just looks very sad. Shame on you wetherspoon bosses.

31/12/22. Fast friendly service, 8oz sirloin and a pint for under £11. Several beers under £2 per pint. Steak cooked to perfection and served very quickly. I'm returning to try the breakfast tomorrow.

Visited on Thursday evening, (curry club night). Lovely curry with, nan, rice, 2 poppadoms, mango chutney, onion bhaji and pakora. Including a pint of real ale. Fast service by friendly staff. All this for around £10. Real bargain. Will be abandoning the local curry house in favour of Spoons from now on.Highly recommend.

Loved the food in this bar and thought the staff were great. Would have at least have gave 4/5. Unfortunately they have a problem with table numbers and when trying to order using my phone it was a bit of a disaster. This needs sorted. After trying twice I ended up just going to the bar.
