The Bagot Arms

This pub is surrounded by scaffolding, but it is open. The food is good value, plus the chips are home cooked, not frozen. There's a friendly welcome, and the service is efficient. There's also Sunday Lunch here, good home style cooking with generous portions.

Stopped for a few drinks on our long cycle. Staff really helpful and friendly. Nice outdoor seating area. Nicest toilets in a pub I've ever seen. Nice, clean tidy and smelt nice too. Would definitely visit again.

Sunday Lunch excellent value for money well cooked and a choice of meats, veg and potatoes, real ales well kept. Booking reccomended. Brilliant staff who look after you. The pub is exceptionally clean and well kept.

Excellent sunday meal, the pub was Immaculately clean, lovely staff & friendly atmosphere.
One of the best meals we've had in a very long time.
Will strongly recommend.
Thursday's steak nights are a favourite.

In a word.. Excellent. Went to the Bagot Arms for the first time tonight and can't say enough about food, the staff, the pub. Foods out of this world, staff are friendly and helpful and the pub is great. We will definitely be going back.

Weng back for another meal and surprise suprise another first class meal. Excellent service, excellent service, excellent staff.

What a find this pub was, we have been staying nearby and were looking for somewhere to eat. We initially stopped here for a drink on one of our walks with the dog, we sat in the beer garden in the sunshine which was lovely. We then came again a couple of days later, I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my husband had the pie of the day, both dishes contained huge portion sizes and very reasonably priced! We then came again for steak night and had 2 x 7oz Fillet steaks for £25 and wow! Just wow. It has to be the best steak I have ever had. They do also have veggie options if you prefer. The ladies behind the bar were so friendly and everyone made a point of saying hello to us and the dog and brought him a treat and a bowl of water. They do also have a separate area to sit if you do not wish to sit with the dogs. Would definitely recommend. Thank you all so much!

Friendly pub and good choice of beer. Can't comment on quality of food as I didn't eat there, but it looked good. Worth a rtry if you are around Abbots Bromley.
