Goose Gravesend

goose is a nice, inexpensive pub. the menu had a nice selection of food and drink, and i especially liked the customisability of the burgers - you can choose what type of patty, what size burger, what you want inside it - it's absolutely brilliant! also, the ability to add a topping into the burger is a great idea. i wish i got a photo of them now, they were very impressive. also, the waffle fries were great.

we also bought one of the pitchers and that was nice. i don't remember exactly what it was called but i think it was something to do with cherry. either way, it tasted nice and that's the main thing! it was bigger than we expected it to be. but that's a good thing, of course.

only negative is we did run into some issues with using the app to order. however, this wasn't a big deal by any means - technical issues will happen, it's not anyone's fault.

overall, i would definitely recommend goose.

We went for lunch at 13.00hrs, it was on the quite side, the staff that dealt with us were friendly, polite, and all had a big smile, so we felt well at home, the food was good and hot, we had that look around like you do, and noticed how dirty the carpets were, apart from that I would advise everyone to eat here, we will pop in when ever we are in your town again. Thank you.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, came to a kids halloween party here and staff went above and beyond for their efforts. Love the extremely hot wings!! 😋😋Comfortable to hang out for a drink and bite to eat. Really good value.

Fantastic visit here during a Christmas shopping spree...food was spot on, definitely recommend the all day breakfast.

Staff are really friendly and helpful - in fact they saved one of the party a lot of heart ache by coming across glucose testing kit, which had been left at the bar by mistake, and returning it to us.

After our unexpected nights out on Friday and Saturday I can truly say the bar staff and door staff were absolutely amazing friendly and welcoming. The door staff made us feel welcome and safe even when outside smoking, we had a bizarre night full of energy and excitement and the DJ was absolutely brilliant, playing old and new songs. Definitely recommend this place for any ages since it's so inclusive. What we found quite comforting is there is a female door security that makes you feel welcome and not intimidated when getting checked, which we think is absolutely amazing with the high standard of security. The bar staff was absolutely lovely and fast and were very friendly and confident. We will definitely be returning next weekend for another fantastic night out. Thank you The Goose for make us feel welcomed and safe.

Recently enjoyed an afternoon in here with a few friends. I have been in here in the past but it has been a long time. During the day a lot of people come here to eat and I can understand why because the prices are very reasonable, but in the past I haven't had luck with food though, it has bordered on terrible actually. It has been a few years so maybe there has been some improvement here.

On this afternoon we just had a few drinks and shared a few laughs. The service at the bar is very friendly, there is a large variety to choose from to drink both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. At night I believe this is more of a nightclub atmosphere and that shows in the toilet, it's quite terrible in there. But if you are here to have a couple of drinks it's perfectly fine, but don't expect a pub atmosphere It's more of a bar.

Mum and I visited the Goose Thurs evening for a Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, extremely tasty, hot and a good size portion. Everything about the pub was great, the atmosphere, the staff, the decoration. It was a great experience. The lady who served us was Claire and she was friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend the Goose and I will definitely be going again.

Went into Goose Gravesend on Sat evening with 8 other friends around 8 PM. We spent a good 2-3 hours having drinks and enjoying a night out until , after going for a cigarette a good 5-6 times for the evening one of our companions was not allowed to return inside the premises after being asked for identification and presenting his National ID card , he was not allowed to return with our group due to not being an acceptable form of ID to enter the premises. Bare in mind a National ID card is an acceptable form of identification on UK border control to enter UK , also we ve been going to Goose in Gravesend for 8+years never having an issue before with this form of identification . Even after our entire group tried to convince the female security guard for a good 10 minutes that this is unacceptable , as he has a valid ID , and we have been going in and out of the premises for the past 3 hours after spending a good 200£ inside , not causing any trouble , furthermore being seated on the right hand side upon entering the Pub, in plain sight . This sort of treatment is absolutely unacceptable and has ruined our first night out in the new year . After 8 years of being good paying customers and having no issues I can clearly say we will never set foot in your business again or any of our friends as we were not even allowed to finish our paid drinks. Absolutely disgusting customer service and way to treat your customers.
