Party of five. Pre booked. Lovely family vibe. Good beer, great food. The only thing that seemed to let it down was the wait to be served. It seemed the bar staff were also the waiting on staff too, which isnt a problem but hope they are appreciated by management, everything done with a smile and good humour. Highly recommend and will return.

Great food really great quality at a good price. Went for a works meal and the staff were friendly and we didn’t wait long for anything. Would definitely recommend

Nice big old joules pub. Serves the joules regular range. Does a lot of food. Plenty of places to sit inside and out. Shows the sports with multiple screens including outside. Interesting well done decor. Friendly service. Recommended 🍻

Fantastic, and plentiful, lunchtime food…dinner time, supper…any time really!
We had fish and chips, with multi cooked chips…just wish I had an extra stomach!

Used to be a firm favourite but seems to have gone downhill a bit. The menu’s less ambitious than it used to be and the food not up to the same standard. Hopefully we caught them on an off day because it’s still a great pub.

Very disappointed with the menu choices, seem to be plenty of fad choices.
Nothing light and simple.
Very expensive as well.
Good environment with very pleasant servitors rescued the lunch for me but it will be a while before I return.

Omg what a little gem to find. Food was amazing. Had beef shortrib nuggets to start, my mouth is watering just thinking of them , then I had pork belly on a bed of red cabbage and sweet potato mash just lovely. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was amazing and we'll definitely be going again.
