We stopped off after returning from a flight at Bristol Airport. The place is very clean and well decorated, it's dog friendly and the prices were down to earth. The only issue I would say was the time to get the food but they were very busy and hospitality staffing issues effect most places. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the meal.

I think the owners need to have a word with their staff at this restaurant....I used to love this place (particularly after their incredible christmas meal and service in 2021), but every time I visit the staff have been getting noticeably more rude. On a recent visit I went up to order our table's food with my mother-in-law, and the first thing said to us was just "table number?". Gone are the days of saying "hello" or being welcoming it seems. My mother-in-law then ordered the Yanleigh burger, requesting that there be nothing but the meat in it. She said very clearly that there was someone in our group who was very fussy and wouldn't eat it if there was anything else in it. She was told that was absolutely fine, but then when the food arrived the burger had cheese, bacon and onions on it. When we told the waitress that we had requested nothing else in the burger (not the same lady we'd ordered from), she berated us and said we should have been more clear, and that if we'd said "just the burger" then they would assume that meant a burger with cheese and bacon/onions. Considering my mother-in-law had literally said "no cheese or anything", we did point out that we didn't think there was any way we could have been clearer, but the waitress chose not to believe us and just kept loudly repeating that we should have been more clear. It felt like she went out of her way to try to make out we were the ones who were wrong, so I had to loudly correct her. She did take the burger away and the originally ordered version was provided pretty quickly, but it left a weird atmosphere, and felt very unnecessary! I felt somewhat embarrassed for recommending this restaurant as our location for dinner to be honest. The food was delicious, give them their due, hence the 4 stars, but not sure I'll be actively recommending this place going forwards.

Here's why they deserve 5 stars.
The restaurant is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated with endless unique pieces.
I found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and well presented.

Even the bathrooms are pretty.

As for the food, it'll keep us coming back again and again. Good portions, perfect presentation and exceptional flavours.

I killed a few hours here whilst waiting for a delayed flight from Bristol. The pub/restaurant is a modern contemporary design, spotlessly clean and welcoming of dogs and children. Although the pub can't claim credit for this, I was amazed at how well behaved every child seemed to be. Usually in family pubs you see children running all over the place, screaming and shouting and generally just getting bored. In some restaurants I've even seen kids flying around on scooters between the tables whilst people are eating. Not at this one though. It was like I was in a parallel universe with the world's best behaved children. Well done kids and parents👍. Apart from the occasional bark the dogs were all little angels too.
The food was delicious, ever so slightly pricey (I'm from Yorkshire) but not unreasonably expensive and definitely worth it. Service was very fast and staff were helpful and friendly. I'll definitely visit again if I'm ever in the area.

Impressive building with some massive windows taking in lovely views. Dog friendly downstairs which is awesome.

Food is OK and staff OK, but many seemed a bit tired when we visited, the energy a bit flat! Might have been a busy lunch service before we arrived but you do hope for a cheery smile and conversation rather than having to prompt to get a glass and some ice for your bottled coke.

Having to order drinks and food from two different places is a real bind as well especially as its never been busy to warrant such an arrangement.

Car park also overly complicated, factor in extra 5 minutes to figure that out and to avoid the closed off sections.

We had our motorcycle group Christmas meal here for the second year running, and yet again the meal was fantastic, serving staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in making our night amazing. Already been asked for return next year so well done everybody, you are all amazing, the decorations are stunning and menu was brilliant. Many thanks Elaine

Amazing venue, really well ran. Barman that served me was an absolute legend and was very friendly and chatty. The atmosphere was nice and busy. Food menu looked decent, and caters for families. Car park is spacious, they have disabled parking as well. Prices are reasonable.

Great place for lunch and you can take the dog!

Always clean and tidy, staff always make a fuss of the dog. Which he loves!

Food is reasonably priced and always delicious, from light bites to main meals

Never stayed here overnight, well good location for Bristol and not far from the airport
