A great find on The Parade in Claygate serving a selection of stouts, ales and lagers from the Brightwater Brewery along with a number of wines and soft drinks. The beer selection changes regularly and the team are able to guide you to a new favourite every time you visit. Lovely in the summer sitting outside and as the weather changes they put up a heated gazebo. Love the fact I can take home a couple of pints of any new favourite.

Lovely in the sunshine, but I imagine most the year you need to bring your own umbrella to enjoy a drink (no indoor seating). The ale was quite nice though I was hoping it would be cheaper (£4 a pint). Very quaint.

Went on Thursday evening with a group of mountain bikers I ride with. Lovely small venue serving good quality beer. What makes it even better is the way you are treated by the owners. I ordered a beer which I personally did not like. I went in to order another the owner spoke to me in regards to my concern with the one I did not like and gave me another which was much more to my taste. No attitude at all and just wanted me to have a nice evening with a beer I enjoyed. Which I did.

Great place, 2 beers on, a pale and a porter, both in excellent condition. Sausage rolls to aid in further drinking, served with local chilli sauce. Landlord and brewer is Alex, very personable fellow and a pleasure to spend time with. Definitely worth a visit

Doesn't get any better than this. Beer and cider brewed locally with local ingredients. Also fresh take away cask ale. Lovely people, outside seating only.
