Real ale always very well kept, traditional drinkers pub. Always friendly characters in there and staff nice and cheerful!

Bar maid ignored me for for 10 minutes. While chatting to other people while I stood there waiting. Had to leave as it was disrespectful to me.

The architecture of this pub fits in really nicely to the residential area surrounding it. Ample space both inside (pool table) and outside (large beer garden). The beer itself is well served with the range of wines and spirits you would expect. Definitely in need of some TLC and some better music (Eminem, Vanilla Ice and a dreadful Bob Marley cover playing). Very much a "lads pub" at the time I arrived but this was my first time so can't comment further.

Not graced the Fox for many years until one miserable cold night. Pleasantly surprised. Very welcoming atmosphere and a lovely little open log fire to boot. Beer on tap was also good. In my case Adnams.
