Great cozy place with surprising menu. Good selection of beers and warm service. Kitchen could be faster and food is good but not superb, but it's not a place you want to exit any time soon so... overall is a place you know you want to come back even if you're not a local patron.

Perfect place to stop for a bite to eat if you are going to Bristol Airport. Great service, lovely garden and food was lovely. My photo does not do it justice!

Wonderful service, always a local with a story or two. Can't imagine a more open pub for anyone to walk into and have a good time, classic pub food, and a good chuckle! They do everything well, give this pub a try and you won't be disappointed.

Had a very nice, true home cooked Sunday lunch and the best pint of Butcombe in a long time.
Nice outside seating and a car park. Top place

Very disappointed.

Food just OK; but we had to remind them that we were not served after 50 minutes waiting, and even though It took another 20 minutes for the food to arrive.

Poor service, I won't go there again and wouldn't recommend.

Nice pub in a nice city. Sunday roast was medium. The veggies were too soft. Our baby enjoyed that tough

Great pub with a good selection of ales and really nice food at very affordable prices. The outside seating areas are what really makes the place though. You can sit in the garden with various gazebos, under the covered area with comfy sofas, blankets and woodburner or in the completely enclosed and glassed roof area. Whatever the weather you are catered for.

They also have a lovely little village shop which sells the daily essentials plus coffees and a selection of locally made pastries (I can recommend the almond croissants) as well as locally produced, beautiful charcuterie.

Super staff, great ambience and food. What more could you want from a pub? Highly recommended.

Lovely wee country pub in a rural location, really good food, excellent service and a lovely destination pub with beautiful scenery and wide choice of local ales and ciders.
