Liveliest but friendliest bar in Chesterfield. Had a great couple of nights here with the top class bar staff and DJ and will no doubt call in next time we're in town.

Good music, but I thought George Michael had died but turns out he works here. All seriousness though it's a decent pub but could do with a good IPA on draft or some cans or something for people like me but music was great and tv in for sports in every alcove. They seemed to allow well behaved dogs but I would ask as you walk in.

Had a great time in this pub. Landlord was dead friendly, prices cheap, music and great atmosphere. Need more pubs like this. Cheers pat

15 of us travelled to Chesterfield from Langley Mill on Sat 31st July for my birthday. The bar staff were extremely friendly, very efficient and made us all welcome. There we're a couple doing a disco , which played fantastic dance music 🎶 and all our requests. We more or less took over the pub. Thank you for your kind hospitality. We will definitely be back. Top place, great prices...great staff. Love the Sun Inn.... I call it my local!,as I don't live in town...atmosphere great...prices brilliant...it will always be my favourite pub...give it a try,you'll love it.

Drinks are incredibly cheap but if you like to spend your time with druggies and complete drunks then this is the place to be
