About three miles from the city centre you'll find this busy Wetherspoon s.
Lots of older clientele and fewer students compared to the city centre one's.
Very cosy inside with a real fire, nice carpet and low ceiling.
Unlike most of the other pubs in the chain this one is a new build

Visited twice in the last couple of weeks , I had my usual large mixed grill on both occasions. This chef should be showing others how it's done. The meats on each occasion were lovely , which is a first. Working in the area for the next month so will be back. Great work guys...

Very poor. Alway's have the mixed grill, absolutely love it. Went to the bar to order and they said you are in luck today it's the Manager's special @ £5.99. That seemed a good deal. Then had to pay for drinks extra and when the Mixed grill arrived no onion rings, no tomatoe and no peas, just meat and chips. I asked to speak to the manager but server said no manager in this morning. Meat and chips so dull and boring. No manager's special, by the time you had paid for your drinks extra and had the meal stripped back you were worse off, absolutely disgusting.

Once I was listening to music ,I did not had heard phone,so obbvasily every one an any one can hear it,from there on I realised I should have head phones or should not play music or talk loudly ,
But know I have notice,there are few people come and , have so loud voice , Which vorabel would not like it or bear it should do something about it

Descent Wetherspoons pub, good seating areas, food & staff are great. 🦭

Had a breakfast here but the food was cold and took a long time to arrive. It's usually a lot better than this, disappointed

it was ok had a meal, burger n chips which could have been a lot warmer You get what u pay for cheap n cheerful lol

Great 'spoons, nice food. I had the veggie lasagna for a change, it was very nice and surprised me (I'm not a vegetarian). Lovely friendly staff. Comfortable building as seen in the photos attached. Great place to visit
