This place has great potential to be fantastic. Love the original interior as most old boozers have lost this look. Only wanted a shandy and this is where you lost me . £4.50 for a pint of bitter shandy ! Not sure why but look forward to your response

The pub is very average in terms of looks and decor, it is closed sometimes at funny hours and the beer garden backs onto a swamp.

The only saving grace was the two ladies behind the bar, make them manager and get rid of that old rude man!

Ended up here after a10 mile walk. This is an absolutely lovely little pub. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Great selection of seating and a couple of nice open fires.

Brilliant! Love the quiet, woodland of this place! No noisy machines or loud music, just relaxed surroundings

I get that the rule is no kids in the bar but everyone should be aware that it is an absolute ban and the kid can not even go in with you whilst you buy the drinks.

I do not mean this as a negative but probably a great place to go if you want the world to return to the good old days.

The only real pub in the area, a public bar, a saloon bar, no children but dogs welcome. Open 4:00pm to 11:00pm Surrey Hills Shere Drop on tap and it's in good form! Bands back on occasionally, it's worthwhile keeping an eye out for the Curry evenings.

Lovely cozy pub. Good quality ales. Friendly staff. It is a proper pub, tucked away down an unmade road amongst the trees.
